Not bad music ..... and the (alleged ) origin of their name is rather interesting - apparantly the same name as a group of young men (in California ? )who liked to pleasure themselves with some weird gerbil-running-up-your-bottom scenario - or is that an urban myth?

Don't know!

But I would of thought the combo of a stuck gerbil, fart and a lighter to see up the offending tube would be painfull

Now now. Just because nobody sees a future at Arsenal, no need to get cross.

When they first came out, and for many years after, I thought that they were...err..there's no polite way of putting it. I bought 'Discography' a couple of months ago. I really appreciate their music now. 'West End Girls' is a favourite and I think the lyrics to 'Opportunities' are very witty.
