Desparately Seeking.....Alloys for R-reg Celica GT
Discussion
My neighbour has an R-reg Celica GT. His alloys are knackered - too many curbs - and they are pitted and marked. They look horrendous, to be honest. He has been quoted £50 each to have them stripped and relacquered. Toyota has quoted £150 each for new ones.
Does anybody here have a better solution? Nice, 2nd-hand wheels, or a better price for relacquering / new ones? He wants the originals, if that helps you at all. Many thanks for your help (Tire size = 205/55R15 )

R reg is the 6th gen I think (ST 202 -- quad headlamp job).
I know someone who has stuck 17" 5 spokes on his Celica GT and could be interested in selling the originals.....
I also know someone who has brand spanking new 7th gen alloys for sale...

OK. I'll talk to him first to make sure he hasn't sold them to someone else....
I suspect your neighbours wheels look better than mine. Mine are utterly shagged. They are 11 years old mind.....
But the tyres are good, so I'm unwilling to spend hard earned cash on mere cosmetics....
