NC clutch pedal

Just changed the front brakes on 2006 nc mx5

Took it out to bed them in and a quite a few times the clutch pedal fell away and went to the floor, like it got sucked to the floor. It happend in a few different senarios few times when braking a few times while just cruising along with foot covering the pedal it just fwll away and whet to the floor.

The clutch was still engaged as i could still acelarate while it was down on the floor,

I could get my foot under the pedal when it happens and pull the pedal up and press the clutch and it disengages like back to normal

I know the clutch and brake use the same resivoirs on these but there is no fluid leaks

Ive not come acroos this before and its got me thinking just thought i would pass i by you guys as i have no knowlage of this model which could be common, first thing is im thinking is faulty clutch master ?

One thing to inspect aside from the hydraulic system is the actual pedal assembly itself.
They’re prone to breaking as the welds can give up.
