L405 V6 supercharged
Discussion
Anyone have any direct experience/ownership/feedback of the L405 petrol V6 3.0 supercharged Range Rover. It’s seems difficult to find online reviews.
I’m not bothered that it isn’t the 5.0SC; I would (or may - current car is under the knife right now) be coming from an L322 4.2SC and don’t feel that that sort of car needs extra pick up and go. I’m more interested in engine refinement, reliability and driving experience.

It puts out about 340bhp, so will be enough for the L405. However, they are very very rare and and whilst they won't have the same issues as the SDV6 and the 5.0SC, I think they might be quite a hard car to sell on purely due to the rarity. The MHEV inline 6Cyl that followed is probably a much better engine (certainly more fuel efficient). Those are of course much more expensive
MPG will probably be in the high teens, but of you are doing low miles, its not so bad and at least you won't get diesel issues such as NGR/DPF/Injectors blah blah.
