Hi

Does anyone know what sort of discount can be expected off a new 911 Carrera 4S from main dealers at present?

Any current knowledge on pricing would be much appreciated.

Many thanks in advance

The discounts on in stock models ( as per Porsche site ) and be circa 10% but it is a bit random as to which dealer what's rid of what.

The 992.2 has had decent price increases and given the overall state of the market many are not so keen on paying them.

I was not offered a discount on factory order, but yes in-stock you may be able to get some money off

Nothing off my C2S factory order in May

Stock cars maybe - but these are often "overoptioned" with fluff to create the illusion of a discount.

High single digit % off C2S factory order in July. Largely paid for the option spend.

I managed to secure around 7% discount for a brand new car that just arrived in the showroom, which had circa £22k of options. Not sure what they offer on brand new builds. Also September was last month of the quarter end for the dealer so an incentive was always going to happen. First year RFL is a joke at over £4.5k!

I'm getting 11% of on a nice, not over-optioned stock Carrera T, in the spec I more or less would have optioned anyway.

(Know this thread is about 4S, but still)

I actually am annoyed because I could have pressed them further I'm pretty sure, to maybe 13%.

There was another with another dealer that I managed to get to about 13-14% but in the event I preferred the spec of the other, sadly.

Various discussions across two different OPCs in the past few months revealed the following when enquiring about a new 911:

“A discount of some sort will definitely be applied as we are incentivised to retain existing customers”

“About 5% off a factory order, maybe 10% off a stock car is about the current level of discount on 911”

Ended up getting 17.5% off a stock 911 T Cab 1 month ago. smile

I’m not surprised

Just over £100k buys you a 3 year old 992.1 Targa GTS or its circa £170k for a new 992.2

Lovely car but really ???

Porsche new car prices have just escalated over the past few years to levels which i just have no intention of paying

It’s all good but paying under and discounts will do damage to depreciation of these models further down the line and just kicking the issue into the long grass

Fact is new car prices are obscene and not realistic

Did you make any headway with this? Decent deals out there now even for factory orders if you shop around, as Porsche and dealers are chasing end of year targets. A factory order for December delivery will reach freeze point in the next week or so, so you'd be on a tight schedule to find a spec amendable allocation. Drop me a PM if you want to know more.

They're going to have to discount, I saw this yesterday in an OPC and laughed. It doesn't have PTS or PCCB, so not an extreme spec.

Just reading that in the first 9 months of 2025 Porsche profits were $46m as opposed to $4.6b in the same period of 2024.

Dire times currently, which is no doubt the same for other brands.

I had £15k off a preregistered 992.2 4 GTS (and a cracking part ex price compared to other OPCs after shopping around), saved me about £20k overall. Ended up with a car that was 2 months old and 30 odd miles on the clock.

Congrats on the new car.

May I ask, was the car up for sale at full list and then you negotiated the £15k off? Or was it already advertised at a saving over list?

Thanks very much.
