Keyless go radio frequencies and pacemakers/onboard ICDs?
Discussion
Are issues between these 2 items actually a thing? Lots of cars have keyless entry/go systems now and plenty of people have pacemakers or ICDs but I don't recall hearing about incidents when the 2 combine.
Reason I ask is that on a new (JDM import) car to us there is a whole page in the manual (from New Zealand but the only way to get one in English) about potential risks. A family member could be affected if there actually a problem.
Anyone?

I have a LR Discovery Sport with keyless entry. Nothing in the handbook about pacemakers and ICDs. I have had a pacemaker since December 2022. No problems with this at all.
Incidentally, a lot of leaflets about pacemakers say to steer clear of kitchen induction hobs. We have had one for many years and I've never had a pacemaker issue at all. In fact, I cook everyday without giving this a thought.
