2NH brake pads
Discussion
There aren't many options. The Pagid RSL is available & is about as good as you'll get for track use. It is pricey & isn't road legal, although it works perfectly well on the road.
Alternatively, one of the EBC pads or the Ferodo DS2500. Alternatively, you could keep the standard pad (maybe upgrade the fluid) and see how you fare.

What are people using for occasional track use?
Pagid Street+ or DS2500sMy pal who tracks his 140i has run both and he really rates the Pagid Street+ pads - great for road and occasional track; they bite from cold brilliantly and don't squeal like the DS2500s have a habit of doing; less dusty too!

Thanks all, I tried DS2500’s on my OG M2 (non 2NH) and they were awful, ended up binning them. They are fine on my brother’s lighter Clio 200. Maybe they will be better on 2NH set up as much bigger pad surface? I’ve seen people mention Endless ME22? I’ve had no experience of them though?

I used the Pagid RS19 on my 1M for occasional track time & ran them on the road with little issue. They work from cold, feel like the standard pad & are far superior when you need them. They will occasionally squeal, but a few hard stops & that goes away. The comparable & current pad for the 2NH is the RSL29.
My M2C (2NH) ran the standard pads, but with better brake fluid & stainless steel lines. No track time, but tearing around the Alps & Spanish Picos gave them little stress. Perhaps try this?
