Yup its that time again ! STEAM AUTUMN SALE !
Discussion
I've given up getting sucked in by sales - I literally have hundreds of games (not just steam, Epic and GOG too) that are either unplayed and never installed or have maybe been installed and played for half an hour or less. I probably have a couple of dozen games bought in Steam seasonal sales over the last decade that I've never played.
Plus I have Gamepass which I don't use much ... need to start getting value from that.
Oh yeah, I've got a PS5 with a bunch of unplayed or seldom played games going back to PS4 days. Even got plenty of unplayed PS3 titles. At least with the PS3, most of the stuff I bought was on physical DVD.
I will buy the occasional 'star' game that goes on sale at a reasonable price - last one was Space Marine 2 whose single player campaign I played through over the course of a week. From now on, I'm going to play games all the way through if I start them and they look decent and no new games purchased unless I intend to start playing them immediately.
(Even if I didn't have a massive backlog, there's so much free stuff constantly from Amazon Prime Gaming and Epic Store giveaways that I could feasibly just depend on them for new games).

I've bought the remaining assetto corsa competizione dlcs to complete the collection. I've also (finally) set my Stream Deck up and mounted it to the driving rig.... Happy days!

Niice - thanks for the heads up - haven't booted up my copy for a while, so I bought all the DLC I needed to complete the collection... I do love a good deal!AlexC1981 said:
I bought Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 because I loved the first one.
Waiting for black Friday and hopefully I'll be able to get a new graphics card on sale. I won't hold my breath...
Graphics cards have gone a bit silly since AI became so popular. Guess there is more money in tech bro's buying them off nvidia then selling them to gamers...Waiting for black Friday and hopefully I'll be able to get a new graphics card on sale. I won't hold my breath...
In the style of Neverwinter Nights, Baldur's Gate, etc...
Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous (£15.04)
Whilst it's a 2021 game, it is the GOTY edition, and has 100-140 hours of gameplay/sidequests in it...and all the DLCs.

I don't get much time to play these days, so it's hard to justify the cost of a decent card at full price. I've got two weeks off over Christmas so I'd like to get back into it then.
Time is an issue, but there are so many good games now, and with Steam sales + CD keys cheaper than ever. I've just picked up Sniper Elite 5, still have yet to start StarWars Outlaws, Borderlands 4, need to finish Cyberpunk and than there are all the driving games.Good thing is tech like GFN means I can play on almost any devices when ever I have time any where in the house and with all the graphics settings on full, never have to worry about storage, system update etc etc

I got Schedule 1 and SurrounDead in the sale for £15. SurrounDead is superb for a one man dev team but I might wait until both are more developed before playing them.
I also bought Megabonk which wasnt on sale but only cost £10. Its a 3d version of Vampire Survivor and rather addictive.
