Not a stealth ad!

Any suggestions about the best place to get rid of good quality 2nd hand kit? I’m not using them anymore so they need to go. Dainese 2 piece with back protector, Shoei lid etc.
FB Marketplace, eBay..?

Cheers

I bought a nearly new Goldtop leather jacket from Ebay and Dainese leather pants the same.

Everywhere else seemed to be a faff with just worn out dross locally.

You need to offer to post out really.

I sold my bike a few weeks ago and managed to sell a nearly new, barely used Arai for a good price on eBay.

I also have a lot of decent riding kit, most barely used but bought a long time ago. Leather jackets, waterproof winter trousers, leather racing trousers etc but I'm not encouraged by how low they sell for on eBay.

Seems kit, apart from helmets, is pretty worthless secondhand.

If I was looking for kit I'd start on Ebay if that helps.

I guess the problem is with 2nd had gear is you have no idea what you are buying really. It's not you can wash your leathers, gloves in the washing machine and I wouldn't entertain a 2nd hand helmet unless it was pretty much brand new and the seller still had the box/receipt to prove it's age. So resale prices would always be low unfortunately.

I sold a jacket on Facebook marketplace without any issue, guy messaged to ask if he could try it on, came round when he said he would, gave me the cash and off he went.
