Carwow and quarter end

As a shed owner, every now and then I think how lovely it would be to own a brand new car so do a search on carwow.

Yesterday I did a search and got offered £5k off a £21k car, but the offer was only valid for 4 days.

I am assuming the dealer has to sell one or two more cars by quarter end to get a manufacturer bonus.

Basically this car is cheaper than any car I have seen secondhand even, have to say I am very tempted.

Anyone else been offered 20%+ off because it is quarter end? This isn't an EV by the way but a Mg3 Trophy Hybrid. I also assume they are not selling., but having driven one twice I thought it was great and I want an auto.

We can do 23% off a Clio and are advertising as such, for some reason this quarter there has been a drive for Clio registrations, perhaps Renault UK, over ordered on build slots, the car has to be registered by the end of September.
