Turbo diagnostics and cleaning
Discussion
My 2013 Honda Crv (70k miles and a 2.2 diesel) when pushed - towing a caravan in France especially gives an error of P1236:01 - boost pressure higher than expected. I think this may be the turbo actuator getting stuck, but it’s hard to reproduce the fault when cleared. I’d rather fix it that wait, so wanted to take it to a garage (it’s beyond my skills). I presume a decoke of the turbo may help. Any suggestions of what to do/ where to go- I live in west Berkshire near Newbury/ didcot. Thanks.
Try this first a few times if you want

Try and move the turbo actuator by hand whilst the Mr muscle is doing it's stuff.
Google diesel water injection cleaning, you can basically squirt (not a lot at once) neat water into the intake and it helps clean carbon too, I use a pressuiresed plant sprayer type thing, revs around 2.5k so.its hand to have a helper
