My 2010 Cayman S is fitted with xenon’s and washers.
I have front fog lights fitted and a led light bar just above the fog lights.

1: The light switch only has a rear fog position, if change the switch to one with a front fog position will the enable them to work.

2; The front cornering lights don’t work.

3: If I turn the Drl on in the menu nothing happens, but they do come on when the side light switch is in position

Thanks Andrew.

What is it you're trying to achieve - having DRL running all the time?

Or the other lights aren't working?

Both.

I want to have the DRL’s working on the ingnition and would also like to have the front fogs working

Isn't it the usual case of switch headlamps on, pull switch for rear fogs and twist again for front fogs?

My switch only has 1 option for rear fog. Doesn’t have 2 position fog lights fitted and option on the switch

With a bit more investigation.

The Handbook doesn't show front fog light for Bi Xenon Headlights

Also if I turn on DRL in the menu, box not filled in and the switch set to home they don't come , only as side lights.

surly this would not be correct

That's correct the 987.2 with xenons and PDLS doesn't have fog lights, I read somewhere (it could have been in the manual) that Porsche deemed the xenon lights powerful enough not to warrant fog lights.

I have PDLS on my 987.2 CS and I am sure you'll agree the light output is very good as is the lights pivoting when you turn the steering.

I've a 987.2S with PDLS and I'd say they're fairly ste by current standards!

They’re a lot better than the standard halogens.

Really...what are you comparing them to.

My GR-Yaris with modern LED headlights couldn't show you to the toilet in the dark...they are worse than useless.

Just for some info a xenon bulb with a colour temperature of 4800K like these ones from Philips output the maximum amount of light of any xenon bulb, I run a set of these in my Proceed GT along with a set of Philips H7 LED's and lets just say the light output was phenomenal...try this set-up in your Cayman.

I had a 987.1 Cayman S.

It had the basic lights on it I recall.

The lower round lights were the daytime running lights.

Didn’t particularly like that set up as it looked like I was a prat with fog lights on.

I don’t think there was any front fog function.

On my current 987 Spyder, I wish I’d ticked for fancy headlights. Standard ones really are poor by modern standards.

But haven't there been numerous petitions about modern headlights being too bright and dazzling oncoming drivers?
