Ey up good folk.

Been years since I last posted on here!

Anyhow, I have a fee potential cars on my purchase list for next year but they vary quite a bit. I really don’t want to mess dealers around with test drives as I’m not going to be ready to buy until around March and don’t think it’s fair.

This is where I’m hoping for some help from yawl.

Are there any people based in Yorkshire that would be willing to take me out in any of the cars below, just so I can see how they are before I narrow it down? I don’t need to drive them, I’m willing to meet where you decide so I don’t need to come to your home or owt. Happy to pay for some fuel etc.

I’m not a weirdo (well, kinda) and you can see by my topic history I’ve been on here for years. Had 3 S1 Elise’s in the past but as I had a knee replacement in 2023 I’m not even sure I could get in some of them!

Anyhow the list is:

Lotus Evora (nothing too extreme cos I’ll be buying the launch edition type).
Lotus Elise S2 especially the CR or 111r
Jag F Type 3.0 V6, around 2015.

I’m based in Selby, North Yorkshire.

Any help would be awesome.

Cheers me dears.

Jon seal sportscars is a Lotus specialist and up that way and would probably show you around some cars, he`s very helpful.
I would maybe lean toward the Evora for a bit of an easier ownership experience but my choice would be the Jag personally.

Cheers! I’ve seen those guys on Facebook a lot at the mo.

Interestingly I’m just on the way to look at a Jag now!
