Sorry if I've not posted correctly, I've no idea how to sell on Pistonheads.

For sale are a full set of 4 Aston Martin Sportpack Alloy wheels from my 2004 Aston Martin DB9. They are OEM silver with the diamond cut faces.

I fitted brand new Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tyres only 6 months ago, not even done 100 miles on them.
The tyre sizes are correct for the Sportspack wheels -
Front 245/40 R19
Rear 285/35 R19

The wheels are a direct fitment for the V8 Vantage model and DB9 but please do your own research before purchasing if your purchasing for anything other than a DB9 or V8 Vantage from 04-14.

I've had them on my car since 2019 and fancy a change, They're very rare to find used, and great value.

They are in great condition, on one front wheel slight kirb marks but nothing too serious.

No TPMS, I've had this system bypassed on my car for years.

Collection preferred from Grantham but I can deliver if I'm passing.

I nearly despatched the money Paul.
Two words got in the way of us having a deal - Diamond Cut.
Sorry.

Might I ask, which wheels have you chosen as your new favourites?

The wheels are original and never been refurbished so I'm confused aren't they all diamond cut?

I'm thinking about DBS wheels.

The diamond cut doesn't show up in your photos. I believe these wheels start off diamond cut, but when they get refurbished they're often sprayed all over with silver paint. So if yours are like that, Dewi can proceed...!

Thanks Simpo Two,

The wheels have never been refurbished so they are are original diamond cut from the factory.

IMO they are in very good condition, plus the diamond cut faces look really good, the car is always in my heated garage plus I've never used harsh chemicals on them, but obviously if your after a set just in painted silver these aren't for you.

A general diamond cot wheels question, is it possible to laquer the wheel to prevent the bare ally corrosion?

I'm thinking about DBS wheels.

My understanding (right or wrong) for V8 Vantage Sportspack (perhaps the same for DB9), is that Diamond Cut wheels were an extra cost option. If anyone has a price list for that era, we could be more certain.
Although very similar in appearance, the diamond cut spoke edges are sharp 90°, whereas the standard 5 spoke painted wheels have a slightly rounded contour on the spoke edges. Think the shape might also be slightly different where the spokes meet the outside of the rim.

Perhaps a myth, but is it true with all diamond cut wheels, that they can only be refurbished twice?

They can only be diamond cut 2 or 3 times, but no limit if just painted.

I've never seen the non diamond cut sports pack wheels, they must be super rare.

How would you know if they weren't diamond cut originally, but later painted over?

Dont think you would ...I had some diamond cut and had them refurbed twice, and the lacquer wouldnt last more than a few years without discoloring underneath. Gave up in the end and had them painted, still looked great 4 years later when traded in.

Purchased the tyres from camskill in March this year, took them to my local ATS fitter.

Oh I see I think this is because they are the AMG Mercedes rated tyres.

I've driven on these for a few short drives and can honestly say they grip the road very well.

Before anyone thinks I've got a pair of dodgy front tyres, all 4 were purchased from camskill and fitted by my local ATS fitter.

The only difference with the 2 fronts is they have been designed with AMG cars in mind, but no reason not to fit on any other car.

Just think it's ridiculous and yeah Simpo Two is right, all I wanted to do is to let anyone here know I've got a set of wheels and tyres for sale!!!
