Griffith 1992 non-overflow coolant swirl pot.

Hi,
On my Griff' at sometime in its life a swirl pot from a later model has been fitted, the little over flow tank outlet has been sealed up.
It works fine but I would like to restore it to how it was originally.
No problems with the cooling just the swirl pot don't look right and the large inlet pipe is very close to the dizzy which has made the HT lead runs awkward.

Here are a couple of pics first showing the current set up and the second showing how I believe it was in originaly in 1992.





Anyone seen the OE swirl pot for sale anywhere or got one they want to part with?

Seems to be a lot of multi postings today - doubt its an IT issue

I'd avoid those original / factory items with a brass screw cap that weld themselves to the alloy. ACT with the VAG blue screw cap is reliable.

I agree, I would keep the VW pressure release cap and If and when I get an OE pot I'll get in touch.
