Today I finally got hold of some PH stickers, which I now wish to adorn my two lovely Mondeos with.

This has brought forth another dilemma...where on the back of the car should they go?

What are people's thoughts on the best place to put them?

Overall back of car:

Option 1:

Option 2:

Option 3:

Thought welcome

I'd put them just inside the boot, under the carpet.

Cut it in half down the centre and put one half each side of the number plate.
Nice arm belt btw!

It's obviously a 'Q' car so discretion is the modus operandi here .....

Centre / top of rear windscreen is the answer.

I’m perfectly prepared for a parrot but this is a spoof, isn’t it?
You need help deciding where to put a sticker?
Really? Does your Dad know you’re putting stickers on his car?

Fancy me asking for thoughts of fellow car people on a car forum eh!

There's never anything wrong with asking for the opinions of others, as opposed to just assuming you must be right.

Quite right, a forum is a place for discussion and PH probably has a larger collection of odd-ball questions and answers than anywhere else.

BTW - #1 looks best to me.

Thanks. Yeah I think #1 is my preferred option too, it seems to make most sense there.

Until I actually got the stickers yesterday I'd not put any thought into the actual positioning of them!

Flown through its last 4 MOT with not a single advisory. That is most impressive, Mondeo man.

I'll get my coat now. getmecoat

I put a sticker on my mum’s car as a child, when it was eventually removed the silhouette remained permanently in the paint. It’s put me off sticking anything to the paint of my car.

Therefore I’d vote for somewhere on the glass.

It was well looked after by its previous owner and its equally well looked after by me. My cars are like family to me.

My other Mondeo has a good record too, I have had this one since I was 20 though (not far off 13 years now) so it has obviously had some failures, but nothing catastrophic. This one is an ex Enterprise car, a diesel, and has now done 167,000 miles.

When we were teenagers, a mate of mine used that Christmas snow stuff in an aerosol to spray "Santa" on his driver's door, with an arrow pointing up to the window. Was mildly amusing that Christmas, until he tried to clean it off and it had attacked the paint. I never realised how corrosive that stuff was until then.

Yours, festively,
Scott
