Any of the flight experts got any tips on Lon (any) to Hanoi, return, 20/2/26 to 3/3/26. Currently looking at around £1700 with Vietnam air (who I wasn't overjoyed with last time, but, hey!).

Are they any crafty routes? Quick trip to EU, then on from there? Needs to be PE or better, all mid 50's and done with cramped flights.

It’s often cheaper to fly to Saigon then domestic to Hanoi.
Bangkok is also worth looking at and low cost from there.

You do sometimes find cheaper flights from Paris but it’s very hit and miss.

I really like Vietnam Air what don’t you like about them? I did have a 9 hour delay in the old Hanoi domestic terminal when it was being renovated that was not fun mind.

Cheers.

Vietnam air? The service in PE was lazy at best, my partners footrest was broken, and they would not help in any reasonable way. After meal service they shut them selves behind their curtains and disabled the call buttons.

If you can fly from Birmingham

I found this one.

There is a direct flight from Hanoi to LHR at 12:45AM so if you search from 4th you can get direct both ways for the same price.

Try Lufthansa website direct.

They should have options from London via Frankfurt / Zurich / Munich / Vienna

What’s the upper limit pp? I’ve bagged another £2k return business with Finnair to Bangkok for my upcoming trip. From there Hanoi is a short hop that can be done for pennies.

check bud,vie,mxp,

I saw 800 odd flights with a connection EX MXP or BUD.

Then open jaw it back to London so really you only need to fly one way to europe.

It's just the APD is crazy high for anything other than exonomy. I also saw VN direct for 1300 ex MXP still worth the saving again open jaw back to london.
