Been looking for the last six months for a coupe LP manual with little success.

How rare are these?

I had an LP550-2 Manual I sold back in 2013 maybe to a guy on here. I bought for £118k in 2011, sold for I think maybe £113k. In arancio borealis. I think i did SOR via bentley leeds, and then a guy on here bought it after that.

What's the manual like to drive? Is the previous poster correct about the squeezed space making it undrveable?

I have a pre lp manual gallardo & it’s not the biggest gap between the pedals. Id recommend sitting in any manual gallardo to see if it would work for you.

Fantastic, and the only way I'd have it.

No problem with space for my feet on the pedals (I'm 6'3" and wear size 10 shoes) and can quite happily drive in conventional shoes and heel & toe. I haven't driven a pre-LP Gallardo, so I don't know if they are significantly different (it sounds that way from others experiences).

I look after a Grigio Telesto 560 - it is a sensational car to drive. I'd have one in a heartbeat if the opportunity arose.

I went through a similar patient search all those years ago.

It's well worth letting the sales teams at Lamborghini dealers know what you are looking for; they may well know of cars within their customer base that could be coming available (or can be persuaded to be made available). smile

waveyNo, though the Gallardo is kind of the successor to it.

I went Cerbera->DB7 Vantage->996 GT3->Gallardo.

Keep an eye out for 550 2 variants as they were the cheapest way into a new gallardo, check pic not search filters for gearbox

It may also be worth giving Ricky at RE Performance in Swindon a call as he looks after quite a few owner's Lamborghinis.

Thanks, point taken re adverts , and will give Ricky a call although I don't think they are capable dealer of any sort, it certainly can't hurt to try.

Further to the mention of manual conversions there was this 2011 Spyder Performante on Collecting Cars back in Sept 2023:
https://collectingcars.com/for-sale/2011-lamborghi...

I've got it in my head that the conversion was carried out by Ricky but it's not evident from what's left of the details.
Perhaps that was one of the questions asked at the time, which are no longer available to see.
I may have remembered this incorrectly but I can't think where else I would have got this from.

Ricky is certainly super knowledgeable and experienced with V10 Gallardos & Audis so it would certainly be within his capability.

There's another manual LP owner who probably hasn't seen this thread yet.

There was also at least one, may be more RHD manual Balbonis as reported back in April 2022:

It was indeed Ricky who carried out the manual conversions

I am v biased but the click clack of the manual gearbox with the V10 feels very special.
Voicey has probably driven more supercars than most of together so I would always agree with him smile
