Car Park Fire - Westfield - Stratford - London

This really couldn’t have happened at a worse time. A very busy shopping day at Westfield and West Ham playing Spurs.

The initial speculation blamed an electric car for starting the fire but no, it started from a diesel vehicle.

Reminds me of the Liverpool Echo Arena car park fire that turned out to be most likely caused by a leaky petrol LR product.

My thoughts exactly. Many jumped to the wrong conclusion.

I don’t know if the car park’s open again yet but several people had to get home from shopping or football without their vehicles.

At least EVs take the pressure off the Jews. Most things are normally their fault on social media.

Awful timing all round Westfield on a busy shopping day and match day traffic 😬
Worth noting as well that despite the early rumours, it’s now being reported that the fire didn’t involve an EV and started from a diesel vehicle. Hopefully that clears up some of the misinformation going around.
Fingers crossed everyone stayed safe and disruption is kept to a minimum.
