Just after a bit of advice from about getting rid/selling a mezzanine floor.

I have to get out of an industrial unit very soon and have a fairly large mezzanine I need to have removed.

Is there much of a market for them? I would need it to be disassembled as part of the deal.

Any thoughts about how best to proceed - I've tried contacting a couple of firms that advertise that they buy them but am not getting anywhere fast.

Freestanding/boltdown or bolted to other steelwork?

If the former, absolutely someone would take it at the right price. Looking at your location I am a long way from you, so it wouldn't work, but one in good condition would be a great addition to my larger garage (I've been thinking of buying one to use for storage/man cave).

Alternatively try advertising on the likes of Farming Forum / other ag sales sites. A mezzanine is a great addition to a barn/workshop that otherwise only gets used as a single storey. I built one in one of mine a few years back for storage/office.

Thanks. It's free standing and very sturdy. I'm running out of time for a solution, but will give your suggestions a try, they're very much appreciated.

Stick it up on ebay / Facebook with good pictures and measurements.

Give some pallet racking and or forklift companies a call near you and see if they are interested in buying it.
