Sport exhaust genuine retrofit or tuning
Discussion
I'm driving a new Pur without a valve exhaust.
Now I'm considering installing an aftermarket sports exhaust like Inox, Evox, GT Performance etc. or the original sports exhaust, which can be sourced for reasonable money.
I'm not sure if the tuning parts will actually make the sound fuller and more bassy/muffled, which would be important for me. I would not like to get a more metallic sound.
Can anybody comment on this?
Has anyone already retrofitted the original sports exhaust with manual control? Connecting it to the drive modes, is not my favorite solution.
Thank you!

My A110 has a non valved exhaust, I fitted a KTR exhaust a couple of months ago.
It has definitely improved the sound of my car, along with a Life110 air filter, it's a bassy sound, not metallic.
It does drone a wee bit on the motorway, but coming from an Elise its significantly quieter.
One thing to be aware of is that valved exhausts have a different exhaust mount (drivers side UK) to non valved exhausts.

Bear in mind that at least as much of the change in sound comes from the sound pipe which comes with the OEM sports exhaust, and from the pops, bangs and flatulence that are a result of the ECU settings (which can be altered by the Life 110 remap) . Personally I'd consider fitting just the sound pipe first - it's easy and not too expensive. Worth listening to the OEM sports exhaust first - opinions are personal and very varied. Now I'm considering installing an aftermarket sports exhaust like Inox, Evox, GT Performance etc. or the original sports exhaust, which can be sourced for reasonable money.

Thank you for your feedback!
After testing a GT with sports exhaust (and sound pipe) I was convinced, that I personally dont like the sound pipe.
Consequently it was ok for me, that my Pure had no package.
Now I am missing some more (louder) exhaust sound, but I would not like to have the intake sound close to my head.
