I have been a long time multiple Porsche owner and think it is time to try other marquee. I wondered anyone done the same and has advice on a used 2020 GT. The prices have come down quite a bit and now might be a good time.
Spotted this and seems a good value for what it is considering it is based on the 720s

Buy from a main dealer, having had a 540c and a 720s, if I were to have another then I’d take a 540/570

FYI the GT is based on the 570 (compare the interiors), although with the 4.0 engine from the 720.

It worked this morning; looks like it's been taken down now.

Not a bad call. I ended up at the main dealer buying a 540 after looking at various 570 at 'high end sell all types' dealers where they were not the best examples!

I discussed the GT at the main dealers commenting on the prices they were at secondhand as it piqued my interest down the line. The advice was don't buy an early one.

What's the problem with early ones?

I went from a 992 C4S to a 2021 GT.

Really good move, definitely worth the change. Had a few ‘McLaren’ moments but nothing too much ti worry about.

Kept it two years and picked up a 720s Spider 6 weeks ago which is on another level!

I got the impression a few teething and build problems hadn't been ironed out especially when some are popping up at sub £90k. That said its just a question of doing due diligence.
