I'll answer, but no idea if it's right. I'll enjoy a scone though, until it's gone.

Doesn't the make Cibie have an acute accent on the "e" ? In which case it's Ci-bee-ay.

I asked this on here ages ago. The best reply I got was, "rust".

Although most people said it was PAH-tin-ah I think.

Place names must be the worst. There's a few near me that nobody knows how to pronounce, like Westham, Hestmonceaux, Laughton, Polegate etc.
Also I used to know this bloke that was convinced that the crystal hung light fitting that hangs from ballroom ceilings is called a 'shan-DA-lee-ay'!

He's not far off on chandelier, but hopefully he can spell Herstmonceaux properly.

Well I'll report and see if it gets deleted.

I was saying something similar to my friends Cholmondley and Featherstonehaugh as we were on our way to Belvoir.

Ok, I'll bite: how do you pronounce Westham, Hestmonceaux [sic] (I saw Doofus's comment), Laughton and Polegate?
