Hi, Has the remap voided the warranty on the powertrain? Have Porsche confirmed either way?

I had this cars twin, it was very competent, but as you can see from the 4 previous owners with this example, they are not for everyone ( including me ).

80MPH or so at the top end of 2nd gear will give you an idea of how tricky it is to enjoy on the public road network, in my opinion these are for track day enthusiasts unless you want to feel like Steve Martin in the Man with Two Brains.

Hi there. They’re very relaxed, and pragmatic. Any known issues covered no questions asked. For example, in my recent service, I explained the car had a unique calibration so not to reflash engine software, I explained it has a performance air filter - as part of calibration - so not to replace it. So I was open about the modifications and this was fine. During the service the coil packs were found to be seized, and were replaced no questions asked, under warranty.
The exhaust mod is OPF delete, and this alone make the world of difference to sound, it’s very GT3-Esque. With calibration and airinrake the power increase is realised. The driveability is much improved, not that I found it a problem before but it’s so smooth and direct now and of course the loud button is still fully functional unlike the other work arounds.
MOT also not a problem as emissions all fine. Particulates not on the MOT radar.

Hi there, Agree actually - like many Porsches their phenomenal handling can make road driving less engaging. On the 718 in particular the lack of theatre made my Sunday morning drives somewhat dull. However, that’s why I’ve carried out the exhaust mod, this theatre with the competent handling and ride makes the car feel alive in ways it didn’t before. I ride Ducati’s as well, the weekend drive (or ride) isn’t about speed for me, it’s about character and involvement. Whilst the GT4 is arguably too good for the road, similar to 911 GTS, it’s steering connection and balance combined with pops and cackles from the exhaust now is amazing.
That said, I’m selling it. So whys that? Nothing to do with the car frankly. I need to reprioritise spending as my daughter is going to a private school next year. Love the car. Someone will be very happy.

Yes mechanical LSD is standard on 718 GT4, combined with Porsche torque vectoring 👍

I don’t have an over rec report. I bought direct from Porsche Silverstone with their checks I was happy. I’ll investigate getting one good shout.

Genome design did the remap, opf delete and dyno.
Suspension geo done by genome in partnership with Matt from suspension secrets for fast road settings.
