Fabia 94 hp vs 115 hp?

I'm considering a Fabia for my wife, up to 2 years old. Is it worth seeking out the more powerful 115 bhp engine? Does economy suffer with the higher output engine at all?

My wife has a 2019 Fabia SEL 110hp. Over the 94hp it has a 6-speed gearbox rather than 5 & rear discs rather than drums. The engine has impressive torque for a 1.0 litre 3-cylinder at 148lbft. A great little car I really like.

A friend's wife has a Polo with the 94hp engine & it's mpg seems similar to the 110hp. A bit better around town but worse on rural roads & motorways.

Both will be pretty similar on MPG overall as stated by previous poster, very economical engine. Would say it just comes down to how much performance the driver wants.
