Michelin PS4 vs PS5
Discussion
After roughly 35,000 kms my rear tyres were up for replacement, and the dealer offered me Michelin Pilot Sport 5 rather than the PS4 that were factory installed.
Grip seems as impressive as it was with PS4 but in higher speed corners (let's say > 100 km/h), they start making woo woo woo noises that felt frightening at first, as if they are starting to lose grip. As long as I ignore the noise, they still feel great though. Do others have the same experience with these tyres, or could it be the alignment on my car?

I have PS5 on the rears and have to say been very impressed with them. Grip and comfort are very good.
Fronts are PS4 DT1 and feel very similar.
Mine create no noise at any speed - not sure what that might be on yours - best to get it checked over.
The other positive is the very cool sidewall on the PS5 that looks a bit like suede!

I noticed with age the ps4 or ps4s makes a noise like a bearing etc as its worn. No loss in grip nothing but its an age thing. I moved them front to back and the noise went. Balanced up perfect still its just what they do. I'll be moving to conti sport contact 7's next as they are on my other car, cheaper and better all round.
