Mid Essex Convoy XX1X

It's that time of the month again... the second Sunday of the month, which means it's time for the Mid-Essex TVRCC meet… so Sunday 9th October means it's convoy time

The vast majority of you will now the drill by now so we'll be meeting at the White Hart as usual from about 11:00, with the aim of leaving at 12:00 to make some noise through the roads of Essex to go and get some pie at Great Totham.

There seem to be quite a few newbies buying TVR's at the moment... so don't be a stranger, get yourself along for a day out.

How do I get to the White Hart..?

1) Take the A12 towards Colchester

2) Turn off at J19 (Boreham) – keep in the left-hand lane.

3) Take the 2nd exit (the first takes you to the Royal Mail sorting office!)

4) Follow the road, it turns to a 40mph

5) The White Hart is on your left a few hundred yards further on.

6) If you get to the roundabout, you have gone too far..!

Podie is not running the convoy for us for a while. He is having a 'convoy' break.

I would like to thank him for all his hard work and help in running the Mid Essex Convoy and for getting it into Roman Numeral figures with which Google is having to assist me now

Your new Red Leader is Valhalla, who has agreed to monitor the thread and run the convoy from the White Hart each month. If you have convoy questions he's you man.........

My thanks to Dave for taking it on board.

I'm gonna try and come this month...

I've been meaning to get to the mid-essex meet since I bought the Cerb.. um!! that was a year ago now.

Do I remember reading that a convoy goes from the Marriot Hotel at J26/M25? That'd suit me perfectly.

Not sure about that Mark (Help me out Pauline)I'm new to this convoy thread,and not to sure about all the meeting places previous to the white heart at Chelmsford.

Not sure I can make this month - but then again I have a good excuse , my daughter Larissa Ellen was born last Friday , a little earlier than expected, 6 weeks, but mum and baby are doing fine and are home so may need my loving attention even more than the Chim

As a newbie, really looking forward to meeting everyone but going to have to delay again (off to folks for birthday meal etc, and as they moved up to lincolnshire a while ago I haven't made it up at all yet so cancelling again won't go down well I don't think, although am tempted !)
