Steven 'oops I broke your little finger' Seagull...

Is there a film that he is in that has ANY redeeming qualities?

Have to disagree there, recently say "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind" and thought it was excellent and not in character. Also "The Truman Show" was different too and very good.

I'm not sure about Jim carey. I thought the same when he did The mask, and pet detective, etc, but 'The truman Show' was a fantastic film, as was 'Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind'... He's trying anyway! Plus, can you really give a guy who was the baddy in 'The dead pool'???

Tom Cruise - need a hero who suffers a gross misfortune, but bounces back to save the day/win the girl, he's your man.
Except in "Vanilla Sky" which imo was an absolute belter.

Arnie is your man, can only play himself.

As much as i hate Tom Cruise, his films are more often than nopt, pretty good. jerry MaGuire, Vanilla sky, Minority report, Collateral, Interview with the vampire, etc... You look back, and his movie list is pretty impressive! Rainman has to be at the top!

I thought it was a great little fliuck, especially in this day and age of reality TV. At what point would the truman show become acceptable for mainstream tv?? I loved it, and Carrey was really good in it.
