EPROM Spare

Has anyone got a spare 'standard' or 'de-cat' EPROM I could borrow for testing please?

I've got some strange issues and just want to eliminate the EPROM as being at all involved. I've already swapped out the SRAM IC and no change.

Also, I've never been able to access the adaptive MAPs using any of the available software - which seems unusual.

There's a few notes in the history folder I have, on of which mentions that when the car was for MOT back in 2015 and failed on emissions it was found to be fitted with a 'AUSTEC' chip. Not sure if it might be this that is the reason for the adaptive MAPs not being available?

I saw that but fear I should have checked where I thought it was before replying! The search will go on as it's been on the front parcel shelf of the car for ages.

Which ECU do you have? I have a standard chip for my '00 car.

It's the 'blue one' - whick I think is the MBE 941, with the 55 pin connector.

Thanks out to Marcus (Basil Brush) for sending me his Std 4ltr EPROM to read out and to Peter for sending me his Std 4lt files.

Managed to knock together this Programmer and now have a standard MAP I can try in the car over the weekend.
