I’m thinking of swapping my Miami blue convertible for something a little less obvious, but I don’t like boring. I’ve seen silver & white cars with red interior (not extended leather) that seemed nice to me.
I was wondering why they were lower prices than other similar spec triple blacks, are they less sought after or am I odd & other people think they look gash?

Dunno - I never try and think like what as how normal people think. I like gash.

I adore the silver and red combo. I like red with most standard colours. I cannot stand black interiors, such a wasted opportunity to add something different and brighter.

Silver cars with silver wheels is a bit boring. And Sport Classic in 17inch are so light. Everybody wins.

Michelin on the front, Bridgestone on the rear? Always a worry.

Any Porsche “coloured” interior is fine, even Can-Can but with one very important caveat-dash and door tops need to be black.

A worry? Only if you have OCD.

I had to wear the Bridgestones out, S02 were too good to chuck (photo from 2016 when I was experimenting with wheel colours in case anyone is worried that S02 has not been made for a decade or so)

...and differing grip levels due to new/worn back/front quite often happens if you live with a 911.

Looks great to me! I love a bit of interior colour. Here are a few of mine, not seats to be fair , but still some colour:

My SL500:

I have done some wilder interiors over the years- definitely nor for everyone, but they work for me. Glad you are going to a bit of colour!!

Colourful interiors are less desirable to most people who want boring black!

Then again, there's less of them, so I think they always find buyers.

I doubt there's much effect on values unless its particularly garish.

I just don't know if I could cope with this much red for year after year

IMO black steering wheel is essential.

Agreed.
The car I illustrated is just over a year old & already for sale. Chances are that the first owner specified the full redness but has already grown tired of it.

I was about to say that as well. Wondering if you always see a red reflection in the windscreen?

My 981 Boxster S is GT silver with full Carrera red interior (top of dash & steering wheel) with red roof

I was uncertain of the interior before I took ownership, but i love it - it really makes it a special place to be - much better than a boring black interior!!
I looked at changing the current Sports design steering wheel to a 718 style one (if i did that, I’d neeed to change the airbag too, as the existing one doesn’t fit the 718 wheel.
I swithered about whether to go as is now (red wheel / red airbag) or perhaps change to red wheel / black airbag, or black wheel / red airbag or black wheel / black airbag and trawled the OPC website to see different combinations

The consensus was it looked best as is! Red wheel on red airbag! And ive not bothered changing it
See examples and make your own mind up
