I saw a YouTube video where Andreas explains you can disable the lane assist feature using the new GT3 Assist Button. But doesn't Lane Assist only function with a forward-facing camera to monitor the road, and GT3s don't have this camera? Am I missing something?

Yes they do have the camera. It is also used for the Matrix (std and HD) headlights.

But I tend to just use the button on the bottom of the cruise stalk for lane assist, and program the diamond button the the steering wheel for the speed warning. Although the speed warning chime is really quiet in this car. Way way quieter than in our 2024 Cayenne.

Wow, I didn't know that. Where is the camera, considering the normal 992.2 has the third eye under the front bumper?

In the windscreen by the rear view mirror

The eye in the front bumper is for radar cruise.

As I understand it the 992.2 GT3 manual cars have Autoblip. Does anyone know whether the manual cars also have the function explained in the Information box. It is slightly different to Autoblip.

Manual Touring work starts 3 SEPT 2025, delivery due late September early October, according to the app.

Yes it does. No need to left the throttle when upshifting.

Just wondering, does the 992.2 GT3 come with a Pit Lane Limiter similar to the 991.1 RS?

Thanks for that. The reason for asking is that my PEC day is early September so I won’t have had a chance to drive my own car, and I didn’t want to find out the hard way that Flat shift wasn’t available (despite it being their car smile )

Although the system was no doubt developed for a Flat shift racing change, in practice I find it works on more of less any throttle opening. For example with Autoblip off and at 30% throttle in 4th, if you hold the throttle pinned at 30% and change to either 3rd or 5th it will rev match and deliver a change as smooth as PDK. The difficult bit is after so many years it seems counterintuitive not to alter the throttle position on a gear change.
