Last time you used a stamp
Discussion
I work for a company that gives out stamps to the staff every November. 50 1st class stamps every year. As does my wife. 100 stamps a year between us. I've worked for the firm for over 20 years; my wife has 30 years under her belt. We never actually use stamps.
Anybody want to buy some stamps?

Never, but I use the click and drop service alot. But that prints a pre paid label out and I take that to the postbox, actual stamps it must be at least a decade...
(Back in the day at work you could pay reception the cost of the franking machine stamp for letters and such into the petty cash box which we used quite alot but that stopped a while ago, and again no actual stamp in my hands!
My 91 year old grandmother specifically goes to the post office to buy new stamps when they come out, and always keeps a good stock of them (and moans about the price). She's the biggest recipient of anything i bung into the postbox tbh

A computer typically consumes the same amount of power whether it is doing something or not so you're missing something.
Yeah, but the server has to store this data, and then fetch it every time someone clicks on the thread. Total waste of bits and bytes.

My other half does the admin for a funeral director so is always posting stuff. If I need something posted I just hand it to her. But I can't remember the last time I did that. Last time I bought a stamp the other half was doing a promotion for a company she did admin for and needed 400 stamps, that was fun at the post office, couldn't get a discount either. That was many years ago though. I had to go back 2 days later to pick them up as they didn't keep that many in stock.
