Having destroyed my 2025 watch budget at the end of last year, I’ve got the itch again, but it needs to be at the budget end of the scale.

I’m fed up with my ideas of “good condition” or “mint” not tying up with sellers and I want to view things in person before buying and then having the hassle of trying to return them.

It’s a long shot, but is there anywhere left that deals in vintage Casio’s? Ideally in London or the Midlands.

When talking vintage casio are you talking analogue or digital? If digital i'd just go for a brand new F91 or Casio Royale

If you just want the look, then what haddock says will work, or the base G-Shock DW5600 looks pretty much the same now as it did when it was released in the 80s.

I wouldn't know any specialist dealers of Casio, but an AI search might help. I'd look on eBay for a start, seen loads of actual old models on there, seems to have a thriving group of vintage watch sellers who have all sorts.

I find flicking through here strangely addictive - guess it's the memories the watches invoke!

Ebay is unfortunately your best bet if you are talking about genuine vintage casio watches. Unfortunately a lot of casio resin and rubber casios will have desintegrated (or are ready to desintegrate) by now. Depending on the model, you might not be able to get parts. I had to let go of a 5900 as I couldn't get a bezel for it (the reissue bezel is different and doesn't fit properly).

Replacement parts are available for some other models, or may be interchangable (e.g. 6600 and 6900).

Otherwise if you are going new then I know that argos and h samuel casio are genuine.

What sort of watch do you have in mind?
