2017 Touran 5T1 top mounts

I’ve got a set of Bilstein B6 ready to go on my Touran 5T1 2.0 TDI…

Thought I might as well change the top mounts at the same time but confused about part nos.

Various sources say the Febi 37897 kit (which includes the 22500 top mount) fits all Tourans, including the 5T.

Another source pointed me in the direction of the KYB SM1051…

I have both in front of me and they look quite different!

What do the fitted originals look like?

Personally (not going on the ones you are looking at in case they are the wrong ones obviously) if it were me for suspension with those 2 names I would go KYB over Febi.

A bit of a comedy of errors…

Spotted the Febi kit on partsinmotion with a description that suggested they fit, but their compatibility checker said they don’t…

Was directed towards the KYB so clicked ‘buy’ not realising that 1x KYB was more than the Febi kit (2x)…

When the single KYB arrived I tried to order another but they were out of stock, so ordered the Febi kit and here we are. Will try and find another and then pass to my guy who is going to fit them.

I’ve done some of this stuff before but happy to let someone else with a ramp do it for me…

I know it is too late for this now, but PiM are generally very good, a call/ebay message to them would normally get you right as they are very knowledgeable & helpful.
