2011 Alpina B5 (F10) V8 Touring
Discussion
Hi, I am currently waiting for someone to figure out a problem with the computer system at the garage to retrieve some missing records
Basically when I removed the personal reg from the Alpina and put it on another vehicle , the records became associated with the other vehicle. All a bit confusing but hopefully will be sorted out early next week.
That having said , I believe there’s just a couple of small services to add because of the low mileage from 2020 (around 6500miles) to present, carried out as advised on the cars system computer.

Thank you, it’s been great to own. Only reason we’re selling it is because we sold our house in France a couple of years ago and just don’t have the use for it it any more.
I have always followed the service advisories as they’ve appeared on the dashboard ( it gives a countdown from 3500 miles to due as i recall). I’m afraid I didn’t do the ‘annual, no matter what the mileage’ regime , so I guess it comes down to what is regarded as a ‘full’ service history .
The Alpina has just recently had a service along with mot at the end of July , also an AC service and regas.
We took it up to the annual pistonheads event last Saturday which was the longest journey it had had in a while and everything was working exactly as it should and drove just as well as I remembered.

Hi , in my ownership there was a rear bumper O/S paintwork repair done in 2018 , I think, after a van had a light impact with it. The work was carried out via the insurance company and to an excellent standard
Yes , the weld on the wheel has been professionally completed. It was a very faint hairline , identified during the mot, and didn’t result in loss of tyre pressure.

My apologies to Squirejo … I posted replies to this question and uploaded photos of the request for pictures of the door tops some days ago but they appear to have not uploaded onto the forum.
I will supply the date codes tomorrow for the tyres , but from memory both front tyres were approx 8mm and both rears were approx 6mm
The mismatched tyre was a result of no stock of the Michelins being available at the time. When the Alpina goes to its new owner it will have Michelins on all four corner and the mismatched tyre in the boot as a spare in case the same situation arises.
I will try again with the door top pictures now.
