Sorry, it's a long post, I know these things have been asked before but the offers and contracts change so quickly. Only the price rises are constant.
Current package: £70.50
Sky Signature
Sky Sports Complete including Sky Sports+
Sky Sports HD
Multiscreen

Expires September price will rise to £91.50 but I can renew today at £81.50 and after talking to the man today I've got that down to £76.50.
Plus a £10 one off charge!! Why? Couldn't tell me.

Then got offered Sky Glass TV (43") which apparently covers all the same stuff plus a free TV.(43"). We don't need another TV, the one we have is only a few years old and fine but the cost would be £74. So less than the straight forward renewal.

An additional complication is that we currently have BT Sport/TNT via BT Broadband. It comes at about £15/month and only on the clunky Discovery+ channel. We have been advised that we should be getting Highland Broadband down our street later this year (FFTTH) at a cost cheaper than the BT but we'll lose the BT Sport/TNT on Discovery+ but could add it to the Sky channels for £28/month.

Seem to recall a lot of negativity towards Sky Glass on here a while back so unlikely to take that option.
Wife watches the most TV, a lot on the usual BBC/ITV channels (mostly recorded earlier so not actually "live") but also a lot of tennis on Sky/Discovery+
I watch the football and MotoGP on Sky & Discovery+ and stuff on Sky Arts/History/Yesterday/Disco Turbo etc

Am I stuck with £76 + £28 for the various TV packages, are there better (easy to operate) and cheaper options?
Ditching the TV licence would save a considerable amount (£15/month) but with wife watching some BBC stuff and the use of iPlayer I guess we can't drop that.

If you've got this far, thanks. Any suggestions to keep costs down?
