Does anyone have info on the paint code for the blue brake calipers on the PE?

They look a different colour to the car itself, or is that just my poor eyes/garage lights?

Happy to take any recommendations on paint pens V's sample bottle + brush etc. It's to fill a decent sized chip on one of the brakes.

TIA

Hi, truthfully I don't know but I was always off the opinion that the calipers look like they are anodised rather than painted
Not sure that there's a way to touch up anodising
Believe that there are liquids that can be used to repair scratches, like aludyne, but most tend to build up a yellow brown colour
I think that there are paint touch up products that replicate anodising but as the advising committee is a function of the chemical coating process there can be different shades on the original product
Good luck and please report back back what works

Thanks for your reply. I agree they do look a bit like anodised metal, but mine have distinct paint chips.

I have a light blue paint pen that I used to colour the underlying bare metal, & it's less noticeable since doing that, but it needs many more layers to fill them up. I'd love to use the correct colour, but it does seem to be different to the body. I'm not sure where to find the info, other than taking one off for an "in house" colour match at a paint retailer.

A quick follow up to confirm the iconic Alpine Bleu colour is NOT exactly the same as the blue painted calipers. Why would Alpine do that to us?

Anyway, it's "certified close enough" until I feel the need to remove them all & have them repainted.

Could do with the paint code for the orange calipers, but can’t get this from either the main dealers or alpine uk direct, if anyone knows that would be greatly appreciated

Thanks. They are the forged "Prima" wheels from MP-R. They look nice (to me) when the car appears dark blue, but under sunny conditions when the paint looks light blue there is too much yellow in the gold to work. In fact I think they look best with some brake dust on them.
I'm no colour expert, but my wife is & she pointed it out to me (thanks dear), so now I'm looking to get them painted in a shade of bronze. The pic here has wheels in the shade so not a great reresentation, sorry.
