where is the best place to go for advice on possible constructive dismissal case? Last time I had any kind of law related issue a specialist looked at it and charged me like £2k before telling me it was obvious I had no case i the first place, so I'd like to avoid that sort of pitfall quickly if possible. Thanks

Sorry, the only one I know costs a small fortune as he’s City-based.

I assume that you are not a member of a union. But if you are, it can point you to a specialist.

Also, don’t forget to look at the terms of your home insurance policy which might at least sub some legal advice.

Good luck.

You first call should be to ACAS.

First rule AFAIK is you can only go for constructive dismissal once you've actually quit.

With constructive dismissal, the burden of proof is with you to prove that constructive dismissal occurred.

With unfair dismissal, the burden Is on the employer to prove it did not occur.

lol ACAS who are so over worked that if they don’t get to look at your case within 6 weeks to meet their KPI they just automatically issue a certificate to say you can proceed to employment tribunal

OP - we need more background but a letter case from the employment tribunal usually helps
Simple to do yourself.
