If I want to search for something on here, I do a Google search "pistonheads {what I want to search for}"

It doesn't seem to matter much, the forum seems largely unsearchable and whether you find what you're looking for down to pot luck. I've searched for posts I made and they don't appear, the only means of finding them is laboriously wading through my posting history.

Funny as I wondered where it had gone too.

Coincided with downloading the App. Deleted App but still no search short cut.

I haven't downloaded the app at all,the interface on the site changed a few days ago and the search link disappeared

Not on the website or the app (which is understandable as the app is currently just the website). It's disappeared from the menu.

It's where it's always been for me, left hand end at the right side of the tool bar.

I'm on mobile,like the vast majority of users will be

Yeah not on mobile, as above you need to rotate your phone 90 degrees for it to appear it seems
