Seeing loads of products claiming to be rather wonderful. Our 8 yr old Greyhound's teeth are getting quite bad so tempted to try something. Any recommendations? Snake oil?

We started giving a chicken foot and a carrot daily, really helped clean and maintain his teeth

THe older guy got bad guts (really bad) a few times when we had raw.
I begrudgingly moved to high grade kibble & his tummy has been fine since.

I have a 9 year old Lurcher and use a combination of brushing his teeth with Logic Oral Hygiene Gel and giving him hard things to chew such as beef bark and frozen raw chicken wings.

He does have some plaque but for me it's just a case of keeping it from getting worse so he won't have to go under an anesthetic at the Vets for a full clean.

Our greyhound has Pro-Den seaweed added to all his meals, we get someone to do an EMI Pet clean every 3 months and use enzyme toothpaste as many times as we remember.

We also give him marrow bones to chew on.

Thanks. Will investigate.
Our 11 year olds greyhounds teeth are a lot better than the 8 year old's. Every beast is different of course.
