Creatine always makes me pee, but definitely helps recovery and muscles seem fuller. One of the 'does exactly what it says on the tin' supplements in my opinion.

Between protein shakes and creatine my uric acid went very high and I felt sluggish. Especially felt tired in my joints.

I supplement it every day, and have used it on and off for years, it's always helped me, I don't notice any other difference other than feeling stronger in the gym.

Aren't there different types of creatine? Some better than others?

Creatine monohydrate should be pretty similar no matter where you buy it. Though I'd get it from a trusted supplement company rather than somewhere like Home Bargains.
Check out TBJP or Applied Nutrition, there are many more.

I take 10g a day and dont have any problems.

New studies have shown it can help with cognitive functions, especially when tired.

Yeah a friend of mine experienced this....in the form of not being able to get to sleep at night. 'Never again' apparently haha

I used to look like Mr Blobby on creatine. Loads of water retention. I was stronger in explosive exercise though.
