On my 720s the passenger door is a bit of a chatterbox when driving over rougher roads (i.e. just about everywhere). Driver's door is perfect.

It closes fine, alignment looks acceptable and if you apply a small amount of pressure on the armrest in the door when it's doing it it stops (even just me reaching over from the driver's seat and putting a hand on it briefly is enough. Listen to music and the stereo easily drowns it out but if just listening to a podcast it becomes annoying. No bangs or clunks just squeaks.

I've lubed all the rubbers with gummi Pfledge last night but not driven it since so don't know if that will have cured it by letting them move against each other a bit more easily.

But, I was just wondering if there's any easy adjustment I can do? Get the soft close mechansim to pull it down a fraction more, that sort of thing?

I had this on my coupe; the latches needed adjusting so the soft close pulled the door tight.

Aha, brilliant. Is it DIYable?

Probably; I had the dealer do it, though, so can't advise.

Ta. I had a fiddle today but haven’t been able to drive it since.

Moved the striker loop on the door a touch and it does seem to be pulling it in a touch tighter now when shut so fingers crossed.

Have you considered using my patented solution to failed door latches? I believe it would solve your problem too.

I used to have a car with this problem. Eventually I realised that so long as a I didn't use car polish on the door jamb (where the rubber seal touches) it didn't chatter.

Whahey, I appear to have fixed it. My tiny movement of the striker loop on the door seems to have let it pull just that tiny bit tighter. Not a peep from it now.
