Is it possible that my car does not have telemetrics installed? How can I tell? And if not is it possible to install after. What would be the cost?
What can you see with it? Does it register laptimes for example?

Telemetrics was an option which cannot be fitted later - car spec should appear in the app or maybe dealer can confirm

I don't know about lap times but you can see data like oil and coolant temperatures. You have the option to play with the widgets and customize.

Feels strange that it can not be installed after. Isn’t it just a software gimmick?

It is possible, I believe it was only standard on the S and R.

You can tell by going into your applications and whether 'Alpine Telemetrics' app is there. You can install it retrospectively on facelift cars with OTA capability, however the option for the UK has not been fully released yet. The cost is listed as around £350 from memory, however one lucky owner in Germany reportedly downloaded it €1 from the My Alpine store.

You have the option of customising 4 different screens, which can display a multitude of metrics.

I wanted to mention here that the Telemtrics are indeed available for purchase. I just ordered it for my 2025 Alpine Pure, and hope it will download the next time I drive the car. The price is indeed high here in Germany... €400!
