I am looking to buy an unbreakable (stainless steel?) vacuum flask.

The prices vary from not much (£8ish) to a lot (over £40).

Around 1 litre capacity. Any advice, please?

I have a Stanley one that I bought from TK Maxx a few years ago before the drinking cups were all over Instagram.

I don't think I paid anywhere near that price though, I seem to recall it was £25

Stanley is the way to go, although they're now better known for the cups the flasks were the blueprint and are pretty unbreakable. There's a story of a woman whose cup survived her car fire with ice still inside

Pretty good endorsement! (I've a flask myself and it's incredibly well made)

I use Camelbak ones and they are just awesome. Ice is still in cube form the next day even if left in a car all day.
