We have two Cayennes in the household, my older 955 has 18" all terrains so I know what they are like.

Wife has a diesel 958 on 18's and coil springs, useage is everything from cross European roadtrips to towing a caravan on wet grass, little bit of gentle off-road but nothing crazy - think more gravel roads than hardcore 4x4. Isn't used for spirited driving.

What tyres?

Not wanting anything too heavy or that dents the MPG too much.
My AT's are too aggressive for high speed autoroute journeys so potentially looking at milder Falken Wildpeak A/T trail (new generation of All Terrain lite type of tyres).
Any other suggestions that are towards a mild AT than a full road biased SUV tyre?

I'd be tempted by the new Michelin Cross Climate 3 Sport. It'll still handle a wet field or a gravel road but will be better the other 99.9% of the time.

Assuming the vast majority of driving is on UK roads.

Yes the majority of miles are UK based.

Had Michelin CC's before and they are a good tyre...but I'm drawn to the aesthetics of the Falken Wildpeak as the sidewall sipes are quite aggressive so look the 'overlander' part.

BFG have a similar 'trail' biased AT but it's fairly expensive in comparison. Just wondering if there's anything I've missed or if anyone has experience of the Falken Wildpeak?

The General Grabber and Pirelli all terrains are well regarded. The GG more off-road biased and the Pirelli more road biased.
