Worth noting.
The wheels fitted to the GT model are quite a bit lighter.
I can't remember the make model of wheel, think maybe OZ Ultraleggera
I remember people on the forum saying the car feels much better with the lighter wheels.
Worth considering the upgrade.
Test drove a GT model with the lighter wheels, noticeably better than the non-GT my Dad later bought. It also had the gorgeous carbon hardtop. The wheels fitted to the GT model are quite a bit lighter.

Great cars, really enjoyed driving it when I had the chance.
Looks great and I sometimes wish I'd bought one as I could have literally combined my current 2 cars into one (595 Comp and Alfa 916 Spider).
How do you find this versus your old Comp, I might be wrong but aren't the engines identical at 180? My Comp has also got black standard wheels (Podium Blue with black roof car) more or less the same as yours and I'm really not sure so keen to see how your car turns out.

That's a nice car. I had a drive of one a couple of months ago, partly to compare it to my MX5. I was surprised how different they are, in particular the wonderful noises the Abarth makes. I'm very happy with my car but I'd definitely recommend people try the Abarth; it's really rather amusing.

Thanks for the positive comments people!
WAL 45, I echo your sentiments about the combining of two cars.
I had a 595 comp and an S4 Spider at the same time and this feels like the lovechild of those two.
It's completely different to the 595 to drive, but this one has been breathed on somewhat.
Stage three with hybrid turbo, bigger intercooler, high flow injectors, Alfa 4c coil packs, 200cel cat, oil catch can and a plethora of silicone hoses.
The funny thing is I miss the old school power delivery of the 595 i.e. the lag followed by the aggressive build of boost.
The ride is way more absorbent than the 595, how much that will change when the springs are done I'll report back.
Only other negative is I don't know how many more years I'll be able to get in and out of it.

Many thanks and really interesting to hear your views on the 124 vs 595, sounds exactly my sort of car. It's certainly had just about all of the right mods done to it so I'm guessing 240ish which I'm sure is great fun with RWD...like itWAL 45, I echo your sentiments about the combining of two cars.

Echo your sentiments about age (I'm 57) and I'm probably one of the few that actually welcomes the high driving position in the Comp (I've got Sabelts), the 916 is still OK for me at the moment but not sure it is as low as a 124.
Anyway look forward to the updates and hope you enjoy your new Abarth.
Welcome to the club! Not that Ive had mine much longer.
Got a white heritage pack manual about 3 weeks ago. Makes me grin like a 8 year old every time I get in it. 800 mikes in and one set of tyres and set of pads in. Only 50ish miles with the top up too.
Its a fun car that wants to be driven hard, and suits my communting roads in North Wales.
Hope you have as much fun as me!

I like these a lot, and am considering one. Being 6'4", is that likely to be an issue ?
Is there an owners club or forum for them ?
Not sure about that, I'm 5ft10 and used to the Italian short leg, long arm driving position having had numerous Alfas Lancias Fiats and Abarths and always got comfortable in them.Is there an owners club or forum for them ?
In the 124 my left leg is at almost full stretch when the clutch is depressed yet the wheel is fairly close to my chest.
Don't find headroom to be at a premium so I'll leave it to the taller owners to reply.
