Anyone have experience of buying a pattern part wheel arch liner?

I have just received an ebay one for my Peugeot 307 but it is made from what I can best describe as thick moulded plasticised tarpaulin type material. The original Peugeot one was a combination of hard plastic and rubber all in the same moulding. Not tried to fit it yet but a bit worried that at speed it might be flapping around and not as substantial as the original.

However what I don't know is whether other pattern part replacements are all like this or are some better quality. I don't want to buy one from Aliexpress for example, wait three weeks and then find it is made from the same low quality flexible stuff.

With a Peugeot, there is the danger that a really cheap pattern part from Aliexpress is better than the original.

I do hope you aren't implying that the French make their auto parts from re-constituted Brie!

Thanks. Do you happen to know which manufacture they were as Autodoc have a few alternatives?

Thanks for that. Just spoken to Prasco but unfortunately they don't make one for my 2006, only the earlier <2005 one.

No one is suggesting french cars are made from their cheese.

They are good at cheese.
