On flights!
more and more stories popping up regarding passengers either asking a person who paid for a seat to swap/move or more so taking a random seat they have not been assigned as it has legroom/next to partner/window seat etc...

I know all PHr's fly first class but anyone experianced or seen it on a flight?

I didnt realise it was a noteworthy 'thing' I do this on near empty flights for more legroom. Does taking the window seat count if the whole row is empty?

If I've checked into a seat and you are smiling at me when I get there you can bugger off.

The thing I find annoying now after flying for all these years is singletons booking seats to get a full row.

Funny as I was the only three people to wait for a free seat assignment on our booking from Tampa in June, missus was spitting feathers as they had us split over the middle rows, nowt I can do mi lady I said, the flights full but lets wait till we get there....

Check in and we are all checked in at the back, with an empty seat next to me.

Seems to be prevalent in the USA, I once took a flight from Miami and was asked to move three times by the cabin crew who were desperately trying to cater for everyone s demands to sit with their families or partners lest it ruined their entire vacation .honeymoon etc the irony was the flight was only a couple of hours .

As above I ended up in a row to myself in the end.

But it was bloody annoying, especially since I d booked my seat.

If you booked and paid extra did you get a refund?
