Could Bodyshop Repair Reset, effect auto-box gear selection

I wonder if anyone can help with this please.
I have a 2024 Mercedes Marco Polo (V Class Camper) which we bought for transporting our Pyrenean Mountain Dogs. Recently a Deer ran in front of the vehicle causing damage to the front bumper.
It's just been repaired at a Mercedes Benz Approved workshop. As part of the process, given that the parking sensors and cruise control sensors are set within the front bumper, I understand that the car had to have some kind of electronics reset.
I've driven it today following it's return last week, and I've noticed that when the auto-box is in "Drive", when accelerating there's a significant lag, and failure to drop down quickly to the necessary gear. This is to the extent, that I actually thought at one point the car's engine had cut out / lost power.
My question is, could this "reset" that the bodyshop have done, possibly impacted this part of the engine / gear box electronics?
Any information would be helpful.

lots of modern auto boxes have an ECU that learns driving style and acts differently. It's possible you may need to perform a re-learn if they've been unplugged for an extended period. I don't know anything specific to your car but it is possible that a re-learn/reset of the gearbox ECU could sort that, certainly worth a check to see if that's an option.
Thank you Richard-D and Belle427 for your replies - I'll go back to the bodyshop in the first instance, the car's still under warranty, so will be rectified one way or another.
It's just weird, you gently accelerate, and nothing happens for 1-2 seconds - It doesn't sound long, but it is when it used to be almost instant!
