Ignoring the absolute state of entitlement of the guy who on earth does this sort of thing knowing full well you're almost certainly going to be on CCTV or some sort of recording.

Camden councillor who threatened to ‘shut down’ Costcutter in parcel row resigns

And video.

Nice to see the shop owner backing his staff too.

Not the first time I've known someone to try that.

One I remember well involved a (then) senior Cabinet minister trying to throw weight around with one of the neighbours over a family property dispute. She didn't get very far with it. My input was that she could fk off or her career would be done by the following Monday if it went public.

It's all very well being Mr(or Ms) Big bks but as this idiot found out it doesn't take much for it to all blow up.

As they were physically abusive (a shove), I'm surprised there's nothing about the Police being informed yet, as a shove would be classed as a criminal act wouldn't it?

It doesn't even need a shove for it to count as an assault.

The Police were called.

No persons made any formal complaints and no arrests were made. All parties were happy the matter was resolved at the location and no further police action was required.

Good.

Let’s hope he gets picked up and charged with assault.

There's obviously history between the two of them

Much ado about nothing, and nothing else should happen imo.

If the Police were called and that's where the shop worker and shop owner are I think it's fair enough.

I just find it remarkable that people in the public eye, even a very small local public eye, are thick enough and arrogant enough to act that way.

Really thought the days of "don't you know who I am" had done away.

I'd agree. Assaulting shop staff needs to be stamped on.

What a total prick, can barely believe I'm seeing it.

He reckons he cam get the place shut down... really? Bell end.
